Leslie Fox is a “New Yawk” born and raised copywriter who started at the keyboard at Korey, Kay & Partners, writing print and radio for WCBS-TV and the Playboy Hotel and Casino. (She even won an award or two for her work there.)
D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles followed, with print and TV for Procter & Gamble. Next stop was Ogilvy & Mather Direct, where Leslie mastered the fine art of direct mail for American Express and AT&T.
Then onto a “bloody good” agency, Rapier, Stead & Bowden, a British shop set up in New York to service Air France Canada. At Clarion Direct Marketing, as Associate Creative Director, Leslie produced direct mail and promotions for British Airways, CIGNA and Southwestern Bell.
Leslie then ventured off on her own as a freelance advertising and marketing copywriter, working for advertising and marketing agencies, design firms, and brands, on both coasts — from Manhattan to Los Angeles.
Leslie takes great pride in her work for such clients as Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Gerber Life, Sharp, Prudential, and TIAA-CREF — on direct mail, digital and web copy/content, print, collateral, white papers, videos, and presentations.
